Our Grove was established in Salem in 2013 by Minos Zephyros S.P.X. and is
currently led by Minos Pholos H.P.X.
The Knossos/Phaistos Line
Temenos Stemmaphaede is a Grove of the Knossos/Phaistos Line of the Minoan Brotherhood. Like other initiatory traditions, the Brotherhood has developed through several lines of descent, each tracing its lineage through generations of initiates back to the Tradition founded by Edmund M. Buczynski.
Our lineage connects us to the Brothers who came before us and to the ritual, teaching, and practice of the Tradition as it has been passed down to our Grove.
A Working & Teaching Grove
Temenos Stemmaphaede is both a working and teaching Grove. We gather throughout the year to celebrate the eight seasonal Festivals and the 13 Moons, coming together for ritual, magick, study, and fellowship.
As a teaching Grove, we guide apprentices in developing their practice of Witchcraft and their relationship with Our Lady and Her Son. Our training draws from the teachings of our Tradition and includes ritual and magickal practice, meditation, divination, herbal lore, astrology, Kabbalah, folk customs, and other areas of study that support an apprentice’s growth within the Craft.
These teachings are not approached simply as subjects to be learned, but as part of preparing an apprentice to participate fully in the ritual life, Mysteries, and Brotherhood of the Tradition.
Our Grove is rooted in Salem, a place with its own distinctive relationship to Witchcraft and a vibrant living magical community. The character of the city naturally becomes part of the life of the Grove, adding its own sense of place to the ritual, fellowship, and practice we share.
Brotherhood
Brotherhood is at the heart of life within Temenos Stemmaphaede. A Grove is more than a place where we gather for ritual or study; it is a community formed through shared practice, trust, friendship, and the experiences of the Tradition.
As Brothers, we celebrate together, learn from one another, support one another, and share in the work and life of the Grove. The bonds that develop through that experience are not separate from our Witchcraft - they are part of what gives the Grove its life.
For us, Brotherhood is something built over time: through showing up, participating, sharing responsibility, and walking the path together.
